Michael Renwick, RN-BSN, PMHNP-student

I began my academic journey at the University of North Texas, where I earned a degree in Finance. While I appreciated the analytical and problem-solving aspects of finance, I felt called to a career that allowed for deeper human connection and a greater impact on individual well-being. This led me to pursue nursing, completing my education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Since beginning my nursing career in 2016, I have seen firsthand how mental health is central to overall health and recovery. This realization inspired me to advance my training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at UCCS. My clinical interests include working with patients experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. I am passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to restore balance, strengthen resilience, and become the best version of themselves.
