Allyson Frost, Intern
Allyson (she/her) is currently working to complete her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). She aims to create an environment of safety, empathy, and understanding that helps clients to feel comfortable sharing their stories. She believes in taking a flexible approach that is tailored to each client’s unique needs, but always with a focus on trust and building a strong therapeutic relationship. Client-centered collaboration and empowerment are her highest priorities. She takes a humanistic perspective, which just means that she believes that everyone has the tools within them to discover and create the meaning of their story. Allyson believes that it is never too late to make a change or start your process of healing and growing.
