Hello! My name is Joseph Sanders, but you may call me Joe. I'm a second year MSW student with University of Texas at Arlington. As an African-American, queer military kid, I understand the complications of identity, belonging, and rapid change. I know what it's like to not know who you are or where you belong. That being said, my goal as a clinician is to meet you where you're at, hear your unheard frustrations and struggles, and offer you a space to work out solutions that cater to your best interests with zero judgement. I like to use person-centered approaches as much as possible to ensure that my clients feel represented and heard in our therapeutic work.
