Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Walls Counseling is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to client wellness and recovery, and will support a diverse client population in a collaborative and client-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric mental health evaluations, medication management, and follow-up services for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and all related paperwork, with completion expected weekly. Best practice is to complete all documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
Work closely with other members of the Walls Counseling team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including HIPAA regulations.
Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training as appropriate.
Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education in accordance with state and board requirements.
Work Hours:
Employee may set their own hours, provided that services are rendered no later than 9:00 p.m.

Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatry/Mental Health
Current and valid PMHNP license in the state of practice.
DEA registration for prescribing psychiatric medications.
Minimum of [1–2] years of experience in a mental health setting preferred (new grads with strong clinical experience will be considered).
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical documentation and time management skills.
Experience with EHR systems preferred.
